Hey y'all, welcome to my photography website! My name is Emma and I am the owner/operator/photographer of SpiritArrow Photography. I have always loved taking pictures and made the most of my cell phones camera for many years. I adored the creativity of it, the editing, the visuals, the memories made with the pictures and everything inbetween. I got a camera many years ago and that's where SpiritArrow began! Now, I wish I had an amazing story as to the meaning of our unique name but it is sad for me to say that after I created the brand I forgot the meaning. Though I forgot I couldn't bear to let go of the name so I have kept it all these years and will continue to in the future. I truly enjoy photography and love every aspect of it, I wouldn't dare try to pick a favorite part about it!
My true specialties in this business would have to be Portraits and Dance Photography. I myself am a Performer and am currently in a Performing Arts based college experience. This helps me truly capture the essence of each dancer I encounter in our sessions. I understand the technique, training efforts, choreography, structure and am learning each day in this art so I do truly enjoy capturing the art with fellow performers. Portrait photography is another strength of mine as it is one of the things I started out with! I have always loved finding unique ways to take photos. Whether that meant standing on a ladder over them in water to catch the perfect shot to even balance on a beam or window that I probably shouldn't be standing in or even getting absolutely grubby in the mud to get the perfect woodland shot.
I truly love what I do and put my all into each picture I take! It is always a blessing to capture memories for others and I thank God for my creative gift to do so.
Some little tidbits about me personally would be that I grew up in Mississippi and am a Mississippi based photographer but open to travel; I began dancing at the ripe old age of 15 with a lot of determination and effort into getting trained enough to enter college with a Performance Major, my favorite color is yellow, and I love love love a good sunset shot!
I hope you enjoyed getting to know me, I hope to meet you soon!
